At the time the album was conceived, interest in pyramid power and Tutankhamun was widespread in the US and the UK. Even with six different vocalists lending their talents to the album, Pyramid still remains an average bit of material from the Alan Parsons Project.

While not a stellar album, Pyramid completes the task of musically explaining its concept. All songs written and composed by Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. As it does have its moments, Vulture Culture lacks in cohesiveness and strength both lyrically and, to a lesser extent, musically.

Originally, the album was intended to be the second LP of a double album, with Ammonia Avenue being the first. After the discs were split into separate albums, Vulture Culture was given a more modern for the time studio treatment with harder-hitting drums and dynamics. Classical 1 Items 1. This stunning box set, released on 27 th March was made with the full co-operation of Eric Woolfson’s family and Alan Parsons.   2. Of all the early Alan Parsons Project material Pyramid's sound quality was below par. It's sound lacked dynamics & clarity. That has been rectified with this new re-release. Though Pyramid was not his best album it nonetheless has much to recommend. There aren't any hit singles from here, the Alan Parsons Project wasn't about hit singles/5().

A pyramid could be found on the back of a dollar bill, there were stories in the newspapers about the supposed magical properties of pyramids and of course, the cover of Dark Side of the Moon.

  9. THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT. A total of 9 items, 1 box with 4 lp album (collectors item) and 8 lp albums, a total of 12 vinyl albums. The albums have a variety of different countries, including Portugal and USSR albums. The vinyl is in perfect condition, like most of the covers, but there are some not so perfect, the box with the 4 lp's.
