Silver Springs - Fleetwood Mac - The Dance (VHS)

Nicks had been sober for a few years, having finally kicked the drug addiction that had plagued her since the Seventies. Buckingham was then dating Kristen Messner, the woman who would give birth to the first of their two children a year later and marry him in The tornado metaphor was hopefully not lost on the pair.

It had always been a part of the set list for as long as he had been attending their practice sessions, and he just assumed that it had been a part of their pre-breakup concert repertoire. This was by design. For many Fleetwood Mac fans, The Dance marked the first time they had even heard the track. Love and Nicks have known each other for years, and the alt-rock singer had been in attendance for one of the live tapings of The Dance , even spending time with a nervous Nicks in her dressing room before the show.

Take it to the end. Before the instrumental break, it builds, it builds, it builds and it climaxes. It was the only song from The Dance to be recognized outside of the album as a whole. For it to come back around like this has really been special to me.

The only thing that's missing is an HD blu ray upgrade of this legendary show. I wait in hope Sound and vision are excellent. Concert is as you would expect from F Mac with only the odd buffoon in the audience whistling during a song my pet hate Another feature is being able to turn on lyrics. One person found this helpful. Often wondered if the quality of their recorded material could be matched in live performance and this DVD provides a very positive answer to that question.

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and will certainly be watching this again. It'as brilliant. Well I've loved this concert since the first time I saw it, I particularly love the spectacular entrance of the USC marching band.

I'd seen it on TV many years ago and recorded it, but thought like with my recent purchase of the pulse DVD, bot are concerts that are brilliant and time less, which I can now watch again and again whenever I like. But also he can see the wierd facial expressions that Mick Fleetwood pulls as he plays his drums, they always amuse me, but also my Greta Nephew, might learn the importance of the drummer in a band, which is often overlooked.

Service was great and prompt. Definite 5 star approval,. Just great, an excellent live show, top notch performances. Majority of the great work on here. Not going through the motions, look to be enjoying what they do,did best. An outstanding band. Bought "Dreams" as a single in the 70's and never thought I'd them live, waited until at O2 and they were amazing. Wanted to get something to remember the concert by so choose this one as it features all the members of the most successful line up.

The sound quality is stunning and the version of Rhiannon with Stevie Nicks doing her magic is just breath taking. Fleetwood Mac Silver Springs. Added by Tala Woods. Tom May 3, at am. Privacy Policy. Powered by GDPR plugin. Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac Mr. Extended Play. Book Category.
